Adding Liquidity

How to add liquidity to a pool:

  1. Navigate to the 'DIG' card on the app, choose 'Provide Liquidity' and connect your wallet.

2. You add liquidity to the pool in the form of two tokens at a 1:1 ratio according to their USD value

  • Select "Create a Pair" to choose the token pair you wish to add to the liquidity pool.

For this example we choose ETH-SHIB pair

  • Choose 'Select a token' to pick the second token , SHIB in this case

  • Enter the amount of the first coin you wish to add, the second coin will adjust according to match a 1:1 ratio.

  • Choose 'Supply' to initiate the creation of the token/coin pair

If you are intiating this for the first time you will need to click approve in your wallettwotimes and pay gas feestwotimes -

  • onceto approve the transaction and

  • asecondtime to approve adding to the pool.

Make sure toapprove both times!

  • If you are doing this for the first time, you will have to explicitly grant permission to keep custody of your SHIB. This will cost gas fees paid in ETH.

  • You could now scroll up to see what exactly you are providing permission for.

    • It reads that - "ShibaSwap may access and spend up to this max amount"

    • Maximum amount would be the amount you have decided to provide.

  • You could now choose 'Edit' to see if you wish to modify this

  • If you are happy to proceed, Choose 'Save' and then choose 'Confirm'.

  • You should see the ShibaSwap indicating that the transaction is in progress.

  • Once confirmed, you would receive and alert indicating that.

  • Now choose 'Supply' again.

  • Choose 'Confirm Supply' to add the pair

  • You would now be prompted to pay gas fees in ETH

  • As indicated you are now adding Liquidity.

  • Choose 'Confirm'.

  • You should see a 'Pending' message.

  • You should see a an alert confirmation of 'Liquidity added' and should now be able to view your LP tokens in your wallet balance.

  • You have now successfully added your coin/token to ShibaSwap's liquidity pool.

  • You should now see tokens labelled SSLP(Shiba Swap Liquidity Provider) Tokens in your wallet.

  • If you do not see the tokens, you may need to manually add the token address on to your wallet.

    • Follow this guide for that, if you are using Metamask

    • Each pool has its own specific SSLP tokens

      • You can find pool addresses here.

3. If you wish to reclaim your tokens and 'Remove Liquidity' follow the guide here .

4. In order to claim your DIG returns, you must deposit your SSLP (ShibaSwap Liquidity Provider) Tokens into the allocated pair box as explained here.

5. During the time that SSLP token is deposited, returns are accrued in real time.
